SO my next question is this. My contract is up with VW on the 25th. Should I get a BB from them or switch carriers. Are there favorites? I am in Phoenix, so all coverage is good here. I really like WiFi features that are available on GMS networks( HA sound like I know what I am talking about!) What would my fellow BB'ers do in my situation?

IMHO, you're best option would be a BB Curve 8320 from T-mobile. TMO offers the least expensive BB plan around, plus their wi-fi feature allows for unlicensed mobile access (UMA) system for wi-fi calling. . . 8320 also sports a megapixel camera while the 8820 does not have a camera.
