Hi - thanks for the response. When I got the Pearl out of the box, I successfully used the Switch Device Wizard. This successfully backed up my old Curve and transferred all my data and programs to the new Pearl. So, I have at least got all my contacts etc..

I have just tried a backup, however, I get the following message:

"Could not establish communications with the device. A required application is missing from the device."

To respond to your last question. I want to Synch with Outlook 2002. However, I haven't even been able to get into the Configure Synch screen to set that up!
