Well I've continued monitoring my battery level.
After 2 days now I've only lost 15% of my battery level so I'm still on 85% after 2 days of rather normal usage.

I'm happy to see the battery pull worked fine but I still don't quite understand why a simple battery pull extended my battery life, but in the end I can't complain about it
