It's already juggling act to free up enough memory on the thing.

The Curve needs double the memory that it has.
The new features add VERY little overhead. After a fresh upgrade to a new beta, I have 17MB of memory free. I'm counting 1.5MB for Documents To Go (PowerPoint and Word, for now). The video recorder is 23KB. 17MB is a LOT of memory for data content, such as messages, contacts, calendar appointments, etc. Sure, 64MB is not enough when adding on hundreds applications you'll never use, storing your built-in camera pictures and downloaded ringtones, along with your entire MP3 collection, but the media portions of this are why everyone should have atleast a 1GB microSD card.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
