It could at least have an option where you can call you admin or carrier and after validation of generally acceptable security measures (SSN, Address, account# etc. etc. ) reset the password.
What I liked about the Treo is that it gave you an option to wipe the device. The security works and will not allow anyone in without a password. The only way to gain entry if you are not the owner is to select the option to wipe it.
I had a brain fart on the particular occasion and just could not get my password right. That was a very hard lesson for me and left a bad taste in my mouth about the BB.
What if you are traveling on business and van not get to your proper password right away or have a means to restore your device.
Wiping it is bad. Period !
The Palm, except for e-mail is a much better PDA.
