You know, when I wrote the above I wasn't even thinking of the security implications; if you can launch the app (which was already in the task list, running) and simply hit the ESC key to cause it to exit - without logging in with your password - then anyone who steals a BB that has half a clue would be able to disable the remote wipe software with two or three keyclicks. Oops.
(let's hope this was maybe a bug with the app running on a 8320 or something, not the intended design)
