Hmm. I just tried it out with my 8130 (VZW) Pearl and it worked okay. You've got a few options - the first is to double check and make sure you're selecting the 4.2 link (it should show version 0.2 on the install window). Assuming you've done that, another option would be to upgrade your OS to 4.3 and then install the 4.3 version (which has a few more features). Lastly, you can download a version directly from our website and use the desktop manager to install it.
