I note in the beta 3.0 that there is no address book options in the settings. And when you compose an email using Yahoo Go, and search for your contact, Yahoo Go presents the message, "Enter 1 or more contacts in the search field and we'll search your phone address book.". So, it is using your blackberry and not your Yahoo address book. That's the way I see it, anyway.

On my Blackberry, in Yahoo to Go, it appears after I put in a letter for search, it looks in my Yahoo Contacts, not the Blackberry which does not have my Yahoo contacts yet. So the search is looking at Yahoo Contacts, not the Blackberry. I am going to try and sync using PC to see if that will bring over Yahoo Contacts to my Blackberry.
