I have a Jawbone that is over 8 months old, maybe more, and never experienced this issue. Today, I just got a new Jawbone for my wife. I immediately noticed that the part of the charger that connects to the Jawbone is slightly different than my old one: it has slight lips, or elongations, that make it fit on more securely.

BUT, it is also very hard to remove. As soon as I tried, I thought the whole thing was going to come apart. I am not sure what to do about this, but it is clear to me that with the amount of force it takes to remove the charger, teh Jawbone is going to break apart sooner or later.
