According to another forum's CTIA report, the upgraded memory doesn't give 8330 more free-user-accessible memory. They compared 8330 with their GSM 8310/8320 and found the free memory are about the same. Therefore, they concluded that CDMA OS consumes more memory than its gsm counterpart.
However, I'd highly doubt it. Because as a hardcore user as other forum's editor, he might have removed all app/media/crapware that he could possibly and safely get rid of. Comparing his curve with a fully loaded demo 8330 is not practical at all.
