ok, so i've done this on my t-mobile uk blackberry pearl 8110 and now i can access, download and use things like the facebook app etc that were previously blocked.

Does this also mean that i can now sign up to an MS Exchange service like this (SMS Hosted Exchange - UK Best Microsoft Hosted Exchange hosting, Hosted Exchange with immediate setup, Full Blackberry BES support, email on iphone email supported! - with the Blackberry add-on) and have my contacts, calendar and tasks all sync wirelessly, plus have full access to the folders, e-mails (and their status - read, unread, etc) as i do on the Exchange?

I wanted to sign up to the service when i first got my blackberry, but i've only got a BIS license from T-mobile and they want £35 per MONTH (i can't beleive this price!) for a BES service. This service requires BES, but if i've gone around the problem of having BES by changing the APN then should this service work now as if i did have BES?

If not, then is there any way that i can do this?
