Wherever the cursor is, it gets clicked, so its pretty useless at the moment. It sends blank messages, calls people, etc etc as they are the default options the menus jump to.
I've taken out the trackball and checked for dust etc on the mechanism, thats all clean. I've also taken the battery out to do a full reset but still no luck. What is REALLY weird is that even with the trackball completely removed, it continues to happen.
I'm pretty sure its not the enter key thats broken as I can use that instead when the phone isn't clicking every 2 seconds.
Anybody had a similar problem/got any ideas? As I said, its often happened after leaving it locked in my pocket but the problem would go away after a reset/some time.
I am curious, I had the exact same issue until I found out I was inserting my blackberry 8830 backwards into its OEM carrying case. It is suppose to face inwards where there's a space for trackball so it doesn't get clicked.
