I did some searching for pictures of the CX-2 battery, to see if they too had this red stripe. It's been tough to get a picture of the connecting end, but every one I have seen on google images
seems to have the same stripe?

What do you guys think? Should I buy a new battery before making a warranty claim, to avert any potential problems?
