Oh I completely think it's within the realm of reality - all you would need is a J2ME coder to cook it up for you, I don't see any reason that it couldn't be done technically. The only limitation is that not all ports are open in BIS, you could only monitor a set of standard ones. (so if you moved your SSH to port 321 I think you'd need to use TCPIP/Wifi/BES, e.g.)
