You're mistaken Verizons unlimited $99 plan is for voice only, to get an unlimited plan to cover
almost everything that Sprint covers it's $139.00, otherwise you get charged $1.99mb to send or receive data

Compare the plans for yourself and you'll see that the Sprint Plan is head and shoulders above Verizon, if you don't require access to BES there's no need for a Blackberry Plan on Sprint.
