I wish I'd seen this before I coughed up $500 and changed providers for my 8320... I trialled the HTC 620 and loved the full-functionality wireless and ability to handle streaming audio, but ultimately went with the BB for the OTA PIM functions.
As it is now, 'buyers regret' kicks in every month when I pay for the data plan I need but don't use. Sure WM OS has issues, but I could've used the phone for 1/3 what I'm paying now.
Enough griping. Does BB Connect allow policies to be applied from the BES like with a full BB device? Such as requiring a password and auto-lock, forcing the enabling of a firewall, etc? Our organization is looking to put some controls on smartphone use in the corporation, and it would be useful if we could get our non-Blackberry devices under some kind of policy control.
