What would the 9000 be on CDMA that is different than the 8330? 3G, yep, 8330 has it. GPS, yep, there too the 8330 has it. Upgraded memory, yep, 8330 has 96mb. Video recording/new OS? By the time the 9000 is launched for a few months you will see 4.5 on the CDMA devices. The only main difference would be the WiFi. Which used with 3G and GPS means dead battery. There is not a whole lot different from the 8330 to the 9000. This is just the GSM carriers in North America catching up to CDMA
