Believe me, I have and use my BB in a lot of places I shouldn't, so I was only agreeing with the ban in principle! If the camera software was removed and you could find a solid backing or case, your Curve is no longer a camera phone. Try approaching the school administration and see if that would be an acceptable compromise. Sadly, in my experience with that type of bureaucracy, it probably won't be.
