they make some assumptions. Subsidizing the device by $200 doesnt make the price $200. Keep in mind the full retail of the 8330 on the latest best buy ad is near $800 but the carrier subsizided price is $200. If they were only doing a $200 price break, it would sell for $600. Also a thinner device with a 3G radio would be a horrible horrible move for the device. Unless they have GREATLY improved existing battery technology, that is going to be one piss poor standby time.
