I have had the same issues with a 7250 From Verizon, what they did to help me was this, they had me back it up via desktop. Then in options security they had me wipe the handset. Next they resent the service books, and had me restore from backup via the desktop manager again. This worked great. They had tried the service book routine several times before to no avail. I did do this while on the phone with them so I would not attempt it on my own just in case, cover your own a** so to speak.
