I have an 8320 on Rogers. The device is also connected to my private WIFI connection and I can guarantee that I can send/receive messages on my Exchange server and my personal gmail account. BB Messenger also works with users who are not on my BES.

While testing today, messages were being delivered faster via WIFI, compared to EDGE.

I'll probably switch my 7Mb data plan to the $15 unlimited BIS-only plan to reduce my costs.
