OK, I have sucess! I did several things, several times, over and over again, in varying different orders. I think that if you are experiencing the same problem that I had, then this is the solution:
Clear/Delete all your Calendar items at once from Desktop Manager: Backup/Restore>Advanced In Device Databases, click on Calendar, then click Clear, the Close, Close
Disconnect your BB from the USB.
On your BB, go to: Options>Advanced Options> Service Books
Open open all email addresses. Delete all your email addresses.
Send service books. Wait a few minutes. Then go back into Options>Advanced Options> Service Books and open all email addresses. Delete all email addresses with "CID: CICAL" EXCEPT the one associated with your Outlook Calendar.
Turn off your blackberry. Take out the battery. Put the battery back in.
Now, connect the BB back to the compter. Configure your calendar sync to go 2 ways all past & future items & remove alarm for past items.
That should do it. It did it for me.
