I took the exam just so it proves to me that I know what the heck I'd doing Doesn't hurt to show my employer that yes I passed and have a an official RIM title.

All that being said I think after the 90's and certification maddness they have lost some of their value. I went through the whole MCSE, A+ thing and now they are just a peice of paper. Places want experience, certification title may get you in the door but unless you know what your doing you won't last long.
