Actually, I just solved this particular problem (#1) myself through a little poking around. If you encounter this SD Card issue, you need to go into
Options-->
Advanced-->
Applications, then find the shortcut that is causing the problem. Then select it, click "
Edit Permissions", and then click the Menu
again. And then select "
Reset Firewall Prompts". This will then allow the app to request permission to access the SD Card again.
I would still like to see problem #2 solved (the broken code for Shortcut10).
