Thats why I said rumor. Some of the people who seem to have the most accurate insider information have suggested $800 as the price. Same with other sites. But, I remain confidant RIM is not that stupid. An $800 price tag would kill them in the consumer sector ... and that is what is making them very profitable right now because the average joe now has BlackBerries. Even if it is $800 at release, they will probably drop it after they realize it was a bad idea.
