The way it was ... is iPhone owners got a savings compared to everyone else by $10. Now that the 3G version is coming out, they are now the same as everyone else.
iPhone 2 is going to be a great device. My original 8gb iPhone is totally kills any BlackBerry in web surfing and entertainment value. I have both. I will get iPhone 2 as soon as it comes out, and if the Bold is not the $800 people were rumoring (which will be a bad move on RIMs part), I will buy Bold too.

I am not comparing the iPhone plan to a Blackberry Plan. I was comparing the new Iphone plan to the older one. You are right and 3G should cost more and $10 more is nothing for fast 3G service from ATT.
We are not that far apart as I will do as you and buy both the iPhone2 and the 9000 the day each are introduced!
