Hey! I'm doing the same thing... not sure if you know, but I also called AT&T and had them add "Extended International Roaming" to my account, so I'll be able to call and use data if needed. I'll probably just turn data services off because a lot of people here said it can be very pricey without the Int'l BB plan.

Oh, you can log into your AT&T wireless account and see your data usage. I'm not sure how up-to-date it will be if traveling internationally though.
