As far as I know the following only affects T-Mobile Europe customers. T-Mobile USA customers don't need to take any actions!
RIM has issued a software update for all T-Mobile Europe users who are running a BlackBerry device with OS 4.2.0, 4.2.1 or 4.2.2. The following devices are affected:
•BlackBerry® 8700 smartphone
•BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8100 smartphone
•BlackBerry® 8800 smartphone
•BlackBerry® Curve™ 8300 smartphone
•BlackBerry® Curve™ 8310 smartphone
T-Mobile and RIM highly recommend to install this patch as soon as possible
to make sure that the device continues to work correctly.
