My work just needed to replace my Blackberry, and gave me an 8830 which belonged to a former employee. All the synchronization completed to validate it as my own phone number and email settings, etc. Although I have no voicemails in my box, the icon on the screen shows 6, which corresponds to the number of voicemails I believe were in the previous user's voice box. How do I remove the icon notification? Or will it eventually drop to zero as a time stamp expires on them? I have no access to the other user's old voicemail box.
