On the device try Messages | Options | Email Settings then Menu | Folder Redirection, choose Desktop and expand your Mailbox to see available folders for syncing. Check the ones you require. Obviously you won't be able to see all 700Mb...
Re DM, check that you've installed the BES version which links through to your mailbox. The BIS version does not.
How much do you pay for BES on Voda UK BTW?
