Default Is there a software like Microsoft OneNote for Blackberry? - 06-11-2005, 05:16 PM

Hello,

I am a newbie to Blackberry, just bought the 7100T. I am looking for a software program like Microsoft OneNote. A program that can act like a pseudo project manager and can synchronize hopefully with a desktop version. I need the ability to simply have "checklists" in multiple layers or folders. I don't need a very complex program,...just a way to manage easily multiple check lists where a task can literally be "checked" off. Thanks in advance for your help!

Default Looks Like I Spoke Too Soon - 06-14-2005, 04:03 PM

Looks like I spoke too soon....the TaskPad Pro program seemed to work fine, but unfortunately after some use, it appears the program has some glitch where previously deleted tasks reappear during sync even though they have been deleted from all locations.

If anyone out there knows of another program PLEASE let me know. I have searched Handango and the web to no avail!

Did you get verification that this would work on a 7100? I don't see it on the list of supported blackberries. Could this be part of the problem?

Default Sure did - 06-17-2005, 05:24 PM

I sure did check. They emailed me prior to purchase verifying it worked with the 7100T and that they were going to update their website to reflect it shortly. Good news though....after a few emails back and forth their tech support (which was very fast) found a bug and fixed it. All is well again! Thanks!

I looked around the web, but was unable to find a trial version of TaskPad Pro.

Do you know if a trial version is available?

There is a trial version of TaskPad Pro now available at Handango.

I use MemoPad Pro by the same developer, and like it. I find both programs simple-to-use, inexpensive ways to organize information that doesn't fit in other applications. I really like their web-based application that synchronizes with their Blackberry applications.

BTW, the user-review on Handango regarding TaskPad Pro that states that the notes aren't visible or editable on the handheld is either out-of-date or just-plain wrong. You can view and edit the notes field on the Blackberry.

I use Welcome to REXwireless! ideaMatrix and todoMatrix. I had looked at memopad and taskpad but can't remember why I decided to get the rexwireless software instead.
