I was under the impression that beyond411 would search from where you were and not just from the address you put in as your home or work. Is there a setting for this?

Yes, if you have a GPS-enabled device, it sure does. Where you choose home, work other or GPS.

I wasn't really impressed with Beyond411. I just use Google Maps. It worked out well last time I was out of town and looking for foooood. I may reinstall it now that I have a GPS puck for the 8300.
