Get Line Rider Mobile! | Line Rider

It doesn't appear to be available for the 8100 Pearl on any of the linked download sites (which you have to pay for, the game isn't free). The original line rider is a Flash game, it would have had to been ported to J2ME (java) to work on our BlackBerry devices.

It's something your better off not knowing about, bacause if you go to linerider.com, you will never leave.

Well it's more of a toy than a game according to the inventor, sence you just play with it and you can't win or loose. And do any cell phones have flash? I thought they were all Java

Nokia S60 newer devices ship with the mobile Flash player installed - the ones with v1.1 of the player are compatible with Flash4 files (=useless, really) and the ones that either come with or can install the newer 2.0 and above player can use Flash7 files. Nothing can use Flash 8/9 specific features yet (or at least the last time I looked).

There are also other devices which are uncommon in the US that ship with Flash on them:

Adobe - Mobile & Devices: Supported Devices: Handset Manufacturers

Possibly, but I haven't looked at it in great depth - the classic Youtube is built on Flash, though so it would stand to reason. Better to investigate yourself, though and get some real answers.

I did. It's not flash, it's streaming 3gp, so to view it "RTSP/3GP with H263/AMR" is needed, whatever that is.

RTSP = real time streaming protocol, I think RealPlayer was one of the first to use this stuff in public? (way back when) if I'm not mistaken from reading around the forums, this is the particular tech that is not available on the Pearl.

3GP = the container format, like AVI, WMV, MOV, etc. It's just the outside wrapper/encapsulation around the media content specifically for mobile devices. (aka "transport layer")

H263 = video compression algorithm (codec), sorta like MPG or DIV-X.

AMR = audio compression algorithm (codec), sorta like MP3 or AAC.

(these are lightweight descriptions, hit Wikipedia for the real deal with more details)

Okay so i'm wondering. Is there any cheaper linerider games? 15 dollars is absurd for that game. 7 to 8 would be my max. Thank Yall
