Default Webmessenger Inc (Message Alerts) Question - 10-30-2007, 09:58 AM

Does Webmessenger Inc. have a presence on these forums? I need to get in touch with them and their support email requests have gone unanswered for well over a month now...

Thank you...

I dont see them around here much, and they are now Apptix. I personally think that they are trying to not support it personally.

I've been using the product for quite a while now. I hope they don't EOL it. Has anyone seen anything that's a good alernative? I would think this would be a must have application for a lot of folks here.

Thank you. Sadly, I purchased it last month. I received an activation code, but it states "invalid code" when I try to enter it in. Multiple emails to the company have resulted in ZERO responses....needless to say I am not a happy customer...

One thing you may want to try is to try to contact them via the application on the device. I did that once and they got right back...then found myself emailing them from my gmail and they never did. I think they are either trying to phase it out, rewriting it, or trying to EOL (sorry previous post). I love that program too, and the only replacements that I know of right now, suck!

I noticed that I am not even getting the automated response. I called Apptix and they would not help me since this product only has email support. I am calling them again to see if more can be done. This is not acceptable.

I contacted apptix again and this time they gave me the new activation code over the phone. Try to call 800-962-9560 and see if you can get a new code. They seemed much more helpful this time. I also told them to look into the possibility that they are not receiving people's emails. Buy they keep assuring me that they are receiving emails for the other products. One thing to make sure is that you need to send them emails using the same email address that you registered the product with. Of course I am and they still did not get the emails. At least a phone call will get me the new activation key.

Good luck with that. I waited TWO months just for a new reg key (swapped bb) and have been waiting over THREE for a troubleshooting answer. This program has been MAJORLY malfunctioning. Does Handango still have it listed? I cannot find it for some reason.

I find this thread a little disheartening as I was planning on buying this today.

Does anyone know of any good alternatives?

The only other application I found similar was Notifire, but I am not sure if it is being supported either. In fact, I preferred it to this, but had problems with it on my 8800 and stopped using it.
