Default Magmic network problems

I purchased Magmic games and all was working well. I since was connected to our corporate BES server and now the magmic games will not work properly for any of the network activity such as downloading daily puzzles (sudoku) playing a network game (backgammon), etc.

I emailed magmic and received the ingenious response that something must be blocking it.... duh.

I have been through the BES settings with the administrator and we cannot find anything that should be interfering with it although something obviously is.

Our BES is newly installed, so it is possible that our admin missed something, but we have searched and searched.

We have tried reinstalling the game software, resetting firewall rules, etc. Is there a log anywhere that could indicate what is getting in the way of this working?

Other suggestions?
