FYI - PacMan and XangQi are by a BBF member here, Benny Chow. He's got a thread for these games on the forum.

Monopoly Tycoon is a commercial game, it was only free to the first 10,000 people to sign up at the BB Owner's Lounge back in September. It is not legal to offer it free to other people, this would be piracy. The fact that the downloads were on Rapidhare.de should be a good hint.

There's a version of that same Pac-Man game (but with no sound) ported to older trackball BlackBerry models (7100/7200/8700) using the Q/A keys for up/down and I/O for left/right.

The older version of this Pac-Man game was at:
PacMan | Play It Online

(Still - it would be nice if this game could enable the numeric keypad for game control, for those unlucky older BlackBerries. That way, 8700's upgraded to OS 4.2 would still have the MP3 audio but also be controllable...)

Thanks,
Mark Rejhon

Having trouble with the OTA download from the rivviepop site for Pacman. It keeps redirecting my to Google mobile. Weird. I evven tried pasting into Operamini, I got the download button and then when it launch the internet browser for the download, it again redirected my to Google Mobile. I guess I'll go Desktop Manager...

That site of mine is dead, the (free) hosting provider started inserting some sort of hijinks "into the stream" that caused all JAD installs to redirect to Google. I've abandoned that hosting provider completely, sorry.

There's a cool new one on the Mobile Blackberry site (from your device only) called "Outbreak Control", a new freebie from Mmagic to download. It's really kinda fun, a strategy game sort of like a cross between checkers, chinese chess and go all wrapped up into one game. It's one of the only three games I keep installed ("Pipes" is the other one, from getjar.com).
