Under appointments, I am getting error -No Appts Error 3 Error Due to recurring

Now, if you go to month view, I have Sunday and Monday both as the 4th probably causing the error. Just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this?

I started noticing a few days ago that the PD calendar didn't show any appts past yesterday. I assumed it had something to do with DST, but apparently its related to recurring entries. As of today I get the "error 3" message. PocketDay's web site lists it as a "known item" with RIM, but this is the first time I've had this problem. If I could identify the entry causing this, I'd delete it. But I'm unclear how to list all recurring entries.

As I recall, there was a problem with PD when you can a recurring appointment with a start date prior to 1970, like a birthday.

Running 5.12 for about a month with no problem.

Saturday, I woke up to an Error 5. It was only showing Saturday's appt.

Did a battery pull. The counter then showed the number of appt for Sat and Sun. I figured it was DST related. Last night, after the DST change, I did a battery pull again. The appt counter showed 0.

I just did a wipe of the device. The appt counter still shoes 0. I have appt set to 'Show All' and the calendar look ahead to 7 days. I have 10 appt coming in the next 7 days.

What really annoys me is that that bug showed up 2 days after I registered the program.

Can't even log an issue on PD's support forums because you can't register.

That's exactly what I am getting today. I looked at all my appointments and everything is ok.

Also my appts. show "0" now. I have it set for 2 days out and have 3 appts. for tomorrow.

All,

There's an issue with some BlackBerries having to do with the daylight savings time change. The problem will clear up on Monday the 5th.

I've reported this to RIM.

I've got the same exact issue, and it happened at the same exact time as yours did. Been working fine until Saturday. I have a feeling it has something to do with the timezone change...Hmmmm

ETA: Also did a wipe and ensured that I had no recurring appointments before 1970, yet the problem persists...

Me thinks you are correct. Temporarily changed the date on my BB to 5 November and all is back to normal...

Appreciate the feedback! In the interim, users can use the "n" key to go to the next day on the PD homescreen as a work-around.

I have noticed a second part of this issue whereby single day all day events are showing up both on the actual day and the preceding day both on the PD home as well as when opening the event in PD. The events appear correctly in the RIM Calendar app as well as in MS Outlook (BES environment).

Well, it's working again.

Any explanation as to why it happened, and will it be fixed by next spring?

Yes, it's already fixed in our development version. Something in the OS caused a wacky error for events on Nov 4th (DST change). We've reported the issue to RIM.
