Default Is there a good freeware shopping list program or "list" maker program? - 11-04-2007, 09:41 PM

Title says it all ... I'm looking for a good freeware shopping list or "list' maker program.

Anybody know of any?

Thanks in advance.

Uh...I'm having deja vu here.

What are you looking for that the Memopad doesn't offer?

Lol.

The ability to check things off after I purchase them. I know I can use "tasks" for that, but I use my task program basically just for work.

I know what you're looking for - I had it on my old (really old) iPaq. I could make a list and as I checked them they would disappear.

I haven't ever looked for anything like that, but you could check out the Aftermarket forums here.

Wirelessly posted (BB 7100g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Here is the ota link http://midlet.org/repository/knizhnik/shopper/Shopper.jar?md=480.
Oh yeah, the spelling in this prog might be lacking but being able to erase and make new items makes up for it.

PocketDay Lists isn't freeware, but it's a good program for this.

Thanks for the link - the author has a great homepage with a newer version of Shopper, as well as a ton of other J2ME apps for the phone. neat!

IdeaMatrix from RexWireless is not setup to handle lists that you can check off or whatnot, but I pretty much have emailed myself a grocery list for the upcoming trip to the store(s) and just set a alert date, this works for me!

Shop Magic is very good and very easy. Not free, but Sanders already broke those rules.

Unyverse is an app that will store your own wiki shopping list online and sync it OTA with your BB. It's free, but the BB version is not quite out yet. I'm looking forward to it.

Hey that looks really neat -- any chance you've tried the basic Java version? In theory it should work fine; it'll be missing BB-specific functionality (like native Tasks integration or something) but functionally I would expect it to work...
