Default Opera Mini 4 released to the masses - 11-07-2007, 06:46 AM

If you go here with your BB Internet Browser set on Blackberry emulation (so you can easily download the proper version for your Blackberry), you can now download the final version of Opera Mini 4 : http://www.operamini.com .

After about 10 minutes of screwing around with it, I think I like the beta3 better.

You care to elaborate on what the heck they screwed up in the final build before I load it on and blow away a perfectly good beta build?

Thanks,
toddz

I have a 8310 and it doesn't recognize my bb. Should I download the high or low mem version?

Using the 8320 and no matter what i do (apn, battery pull, etc...) it always says "Failed to connect to the Internet" when intalling. any thoughts or success stories using the 8320?

It doesn't look like you can change skins unless I just can't find it.

» As was mentioned above, there were a few extra bookmarks that I chose to get rid of. Otherwise, I am NOT seeing anything different than the beta.

First, when I first installed it, it seemed to load pages much slower than the beta 3 did, but now it's working fine.

Second, some web pages (e.g., google and igoogle) are loading already zoomed in, with no way to zoom out. By comparison, blackberyforums.com, loads like it used to -- zoomed out, and then I can choose which area to zoom in on.

I notice the bb browser is a bit faster. I hope its just my imagination.

Loaded this on one of BBs, and I have to say I too see very little different. I think I am over analyzing things just to find a difference. I wont be moving away from the b3, on my other devices, anytime soon.

Why would they lock themselves in with Yahoo? I don't want Yahoo Search... but I can't seem to get rid of it. Doesn't even look like I can move it from the top seat.

I bookmarked Google and leave it on top of my call screen list.
