I have been trying to insatll PE, but haven't had any luck.

I tried all 4 options and have not gotten anywhere.



Even if I try to browse to the file it then gives me this error


I am at a loss as why this is happening. I know others who have it installed on their 8830.

I'm not sure if this will help but do you have the Handheld Desktop specifically for the 8830? Or did you download the right installation package? Judging by the screen shot, looks like what you chose is only for 71xx,72xx,75xx,79xx and 87xx series. I dont know much about PE so hopefully others will chime in as well!

There is only 1 download for Blackberry users. Then during installation you choose which device you have.

I tried all 4 options (Thhere isn't one that specifically says 88xx) and none of them worked.

I just tried the OTA and it worked fine...

Every time I entered my phone number into the site....nothing happened....

this is the link i used. typed in my number, it sent a text and i was able to download without a problem.
