Default Sudoku? - 11-14-2007, 02:48 AM

Anyone know a good sudoku game? Most ones I tried, including demos, have very awkward controls or no "sub-numbers" feature. :(

I would have developed my own, but I haven't progressed far on C or Java programming yet.

Hmm that's not too bad. Thanks. It may be first game I bought.

Thanks.

The one linked to above is the Magmic game, which looks pretty but limits the number of boards.

The version I like is 5ud0ku (the number 5 instead of an "s", and a zero instead of the letter "o"). It works fine on my BB, and has pencil marks, random board generation, etc. Take a look at start of entry :: 5ud0ku for more info.

I tried it before, and unfortunately the entry system were rather hard. I don't have "native" number buttons, so I would have to hit ALT each time, as well as lack of sub-numbers ( not dot system ).

Are you programmer of this game? If that's the case, could you add ability to use characters that way:

w e r ( 1, 2, 3 )
s d f ( 4, 5, 6 )
z x c ( 7, 8, 9 )
0 ( actually this is ONLY native number button )

As well as sub-numbers system?
