Question Google Talk data usage - 11-17-2007, 11:52 PM

Hey, I have an unlimited plan on my work bb 7250. I've installed RIM's Google Talk, so I know it uses data, not sms, etc. I am allowed to use the phone for personal use, but I don't want to be using 10x the data for Google Talk versus my work emails, etc.

So I'm wondering, has anyone figured out how much data it uses? When idle? When sending/receiving messages?

PS - What about GMail? I've had it open since I downloaded it about 2 months ago.

Thanks.

There is a data meter for the BB (been begging for a developer to bring that to us), so it's pretty difficult to measure.
