Default Problems with gmail client - 11-23-2007, 02:51 AM

Hi @ all,

I have a probleme with gmail client for my 8310.

After starting the program on my curve and connecting I gets an error!!!

Sorry but the picture is in German

ok... I try to translate:

Network not available.
The program needs a data connection.
Some BlackBerry has to be reconfigured for this application.

I hope someone knows this error! Is it a Curve problem or a server problem??

What can I do to get it working ;)

Thanks for your answer!!!

Have you had any issues using the built in email client? Have you accessed g-mail through the browser successfully?

I too am having the same problem. I can log into Gmail fine from Opera Mini but have not been able to access Gmail from the regular browser.

Not sure if this matters, but I am still waiting for the person I bought my phone from to release the PIN so I can set up email with the default email client. I am only downloading the Gmail application so I can check my Gmail while I wait to set up the main email account.

Also, I check in the options and seen no evidence of a IT Policy. The previous owner wiped the device before selling it to me.
