Default BBLight Comparable? - 11-23-2007, 10:50 AM

Are there any apps out there whereas I can set the light to stay on continuously once out of the holster?

After upgrading to OS 4.2, BBLight is not providing this for me.

Activate on Startup (checked)
Poll Interval (ms):1000
On user Activity (checked)
On Remove Holster (checked)
On External power (unchecked)
On Time of Day (checked)
From 00:01
Duration (mins) 1440

Option>Screen/Keyboard>Blacklight Timeout (2 Min)

Pull battery to reset

I have the above setting and it work fine on the 8800 and the 8700 with 4.2 OS.

Wow, thank you! So far, so good. The only odd part is that when it powers up and the password screen comes up, the backlight pulses on and off. No problem, though.

Did you make up the numbers? 1440?

1440 is the max that you can put in, all those setting are from trial and error.

Makes sense. I tried a lot of variations - thanks again.
