try the offline sync. i think josh mentioned there were still some issues with the USB sync. offline sync will put the file in your ringtones folder

it takes some time. default setting on the device is 5 minutes. usually takes about 10 for me at that. i set it to two, and it takes about 5 min that way. try a "sync now" from the device and see if it pushes information over. you can see the info that is being pushed and the number of items that will update in outlook

I'm having the same issue. Tried rebooting both handheld and PC, didn't solve the issue. I can sign into the website, so I know my account is active, its just not "linking" to my equipment.
I will try unistalling/installing tomorrow to see if that makes a difference.

Josh can you pm/email me 12 coupon codes. A couple days ago a few people on my team emailed the support email requesting codes and havent received it. Tomorrow and Friday are two trainings that we can demonstrate the software for sales associates if we have those codes. Thanks

you can put the file anywhere. when you select offline sync on the PC app it asks where the file is located. i just copy mine to the desktop to make it easier to find.

i have found that it wont sync unless you restart it the device. of course that is a good thing if you forget a charger and dont want it to sync all the time on a trip. you can make changes, launch the app, then sync. close the app and save battery life.

you have to have the app running in the background on the device. so just launch it, validate connection, press sync now, then hit the red end key to send to background. when you pres sync now, wait a few moments and it will give you a sync report on the screen.

when you press sync now on the device what does it say in the app screen? and try altering a contact and pressing sync now on the device, then waiting 2-3 minutes and pressing sync now on the PC

Koleary and Sith - the reason for the limit on the number of items syncd from BB to PC is that RIM does not give us enough bandwidth to do very much. Pushing up much more than that will cause instability. Koleary, the reason for the clog up in the queue is because of the fact that you were unable to login to the server and all the while all activity was being sent to the queue for syncing.
You can try the sync now feature to push up the items to the sync server and unclog the queue.
