No Entourage support at this point, but the fact that Microsoft puts the software out will make it easier to develop a solution.
As for the web interface, I don't know exactly what you mean. If you are talking about hosting your PIM data on a webserver, then we won't be able to support that due to security concerns. PIM data web hosting is just too dangerous. We technically also host your data on our data server, but that is just temporary (until the sync handshake takes place) and only for the sync item (rather than your entire PIM data set). That limits the exposure to the minimum.
Hope that helps.

yeah my information isn’t top secret but I can understand the need for it being extra secure. I am on so many different computers in a day that to have it hosted on the web were I can get to it anytime would make more sense to me. So for this program to work you need to have it installed on a computer with outlook correct? Maybe I can use the crappy Sony box we have. Can outlook deal with different users? For example we would be using the service but don’t want to share contacts or calendar.

Hi All - we have released the next Lite Edition build version 0.8.6 for download on our site (software page). We are working on the Complete Edition (full sync with Tasks and Calendar) and should have that ready within the next two weeks. We encourage everyone to upgrade to the latest build for best results and no hopefully no bugs. You should not have to data map when you upgrade.
Also, we have been getting very few emails lately and would love any feedback - good or bad so we can gauge how it is we are doing. thanks..

I am an engineer with a power company. We have our own server and would love to use the sync for outlook to our BB Calendars. We have BB 7300's and a few new 8310's with gps.

I haven't tried the latest beta but I still can't get my contacts to sync with the previous beta. I gave up trying to get a mapping to complete and uninstalled the application.
I'll give this one a try this weekend.

anyone wishing to beta test, please send in a simple email to ![[email address]](http://www.blackberryforums.com/?emailimage=4eac13ea6bd5aa01b1836b8bc0586da7) . the coupon code is then generated and sent back to that email address. we have no way of posting your coupon code on the forum here and keep it specific for you.
As for the 2 windows users, the best bet might be to stop the BBerrySync service when the other person gets on the machine. We are really just focused on the general uses of Outlook and have not been able to explore the exotic user cases yet.
Thank you.

I'm logged in on the client without a problem (on the blackberry) and logged in via the web interface - it appears up to me.
I know it's case sensitive - could that be what you're seeing?

george email support they always respond. There used to be a get started guide on their website.
This is how I mapped my stuff. Good Luck
1. Go to BBSync Device application, go to the Configuration Screen
2. Change the Data Map mode to Upload Sync
3. Reset the data map (if data map was done previously)
4. Click on Data Map
5. Please wait for 7 – 10 mins for the complete upload of the data map file to server – you will be notified when it is complete
6. Go to the PC application, From the Control Panel tab, click Data Map
7. Select the HTTP mode, then follows the wizard to complete

George: We are pretty at responding to emails, so it comes as a surprise that your emails are not being attended to. Can you please send an email to ![[email address]](http://www.blackberryforums.com/?emailimage=4eac13ea6bd5aa01b1836b8bc0586da7) and we can help you. - Thanks.
Also, I would like to share with the users that I recently went to Singapore for business. I have the Cingular/AT&T international data roaming plan and things worked seamlessly with BBerrySync.
We are pretty close to finalizing the software and should be releasing soon. Thanks.

I actually hunted this thread down yesterday, since I haven't heard anything from you guys in a while.
Now is this still in Beta or is this the official release?
Also I noticed you have a Lite and Full version, have all the bugs been worked out of tasks and calendar sync?
For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

I think "Launched" means launched, as in official release, available for sale to the public.
Congratulations, Josh.

I purchased it - and have been using on a daily basis (the complete version). I did come across a very minor issue , which was resolved the day after I reported it.

Hello BBerrySync Team:
We have seen a number of logs sent in from user Blackberry devices where the error message reads “Invalid tunnel name” or “Open tunnel - max timeout”. By searching online, these messages seem to indicate a problem with the Blackberry data connection. We have researched the issues and would like to share our findings with you.
Please check your TCP/APN settings (Options-> Advanced Option -> TCP) to make sure that you have the APN information present. Most cellular networks will automatically populate this field. In addition, the cellular may need to send the service books to your Blackberry device as a way of refreshing the settings and restoring connectivity. We have seen this to be the most common fix to the Blackberry tunnel issues.
We will continue to update you all when we have more information. Thank you.

We have already heard back from several users that setting the APN info resolved their connection issues. You can easily do a search in BBF or the net for APN information for your service provider.

Just so members of this know...
We have had some users in the UAE / UK who have populated their APN field only to find out they are being billed extra - per kb/mb usage by their carrier.
This is just a headsup. The only carrier that needs a APN change is tmo. It needs to be changed to wap.voicestream.com. No extra charges will be incurred by Tmo, this has been confirmed by Support and several users.
Hope this helps everyone!

I would like to let folks on OS4.5 know that there may be issues with the OS and BBerrySync. Until RIM officially releases the OS, we cannot fully support it. Please do understand. Thank you.
