Nope. I don't think VZW can do anything about this unless they drop Google all together. Their own nav uses tower trianglation.

I am inside a building with very low signal and it is less than a quarter mile off. Not as accurate as the internal disabled GPS, but it is still a lot better than what we had before. FYI, I did not have any freezing issues.

This sounds like something I want (Tmob 8100). 2 questions: I already have Google Maps, so I just install it and don't remove the existing version first? Can this use tower triangulation to locate me (I don't use a GPS puck)?
