Looks like you may have your 20 users...but in case you want another tester I would love to give it a shot. I have a registered version that doesn't work on my 8130 Pearl. Thanks.

Arrow Thanks for the responses! - 11-29-2007, 01:57 PM

Thanks everyone for the responses. I think we have enough entries for the beta now.. I know many here were in our original beta, so they are already there with me. For others, I have contacted some of you, pls reply back with your email ids so that I can add you to the beta and we can get rolling..

Just to answer one query earlier in this thread - Yes, Among other things, the upcoming release of Empower Mail Viewer supports RIM OS 4.3 !

Thanks,
Ani.

For those that end up testing it can you report back with how much faster it is please. Thanks!!!

The speed was the only reason I never bought it.

Whatever will I do now?!

Just an observation... can the font be even smaller than the "Small" option in future releases?

ANI.....firstly, you talked about speed. speed is only relevant when something takes time. eg. how fast? THIS IS INSTANT. BLEW ME AWAY.

lots of great stuff.
bug i noticed. i recieved a link in an email and when i scrolled over it it auto highlighted the whole link (like its supposed to) but when i clicked the wheel the default was to reply and not to open the link.

also, i have the advanced options set to be the viewer for "all", but it isnt for sent messages.

We have switched OFF the Sent Mode only for the time being (Beta), because we wanted to focus more on the new features added.. Will be switched ON in the final version.

Thanks,
Ani.

it's work on both my handheld

but like previous version, still not displayed image from various payment receive (paypal, mobihand, etc) , have set to BIS or TCP still no image, it only displayed a small box name image, and after sometimes it become blank .
but other email, such as apple promotional email, blackberry lounge, image can be displayed correctly

@nextel user

Question 11-29-2007, 10:27 PM

does it work on html email only?
And how good is the result? since I am already sick and tired looking at the HTML links on all my emails

will it help improve the BB web browser?

ANI, i noticed when there is a large image in the email and you scroll using the space bar,l (thats how i always read my messages) it gets stuck on the image.
you have to use the wheel to move the image and then you can use the space key again.

Ani,

In reading some of this thread and the PocketDay/Empower thread discussing the integration features I am very intrigued to see your new version as an owner of both.

I like the Pocket Day Add Task and Add Calender item menu selections. Can the Empower ones be hidden to eliminate clutter from the menu?

Any idea when the beta will be expanded or the new version will be generally released?

Is this going to be a free update?

Thanks,

Mark

I'm going to throw a teaser out because it's not been mentioned yet - 3.0 (beta) is allowing us to use the fonts from the device, for instance BBMilliBank Tall (T-Mobile ZEN default). This was my #1 most desired feature and I'm happy it's made it into 3.0.

cdmaguy yes it is.. indeed im using newer os than you have ;)
and emv 3.0 work great..

ani one other thing i found that shortcut J and K on qwerty bb not working on this version, can it be implement on next beta built ?

and this one is just a suggestion, can somehow emv displayed imaged on attachment as if it attach on email body ? (maybe using option for people like it can be turn on, and off for otherwise)

same happened here when Ani PM'd; go to their website and send an email via 'Contact Us' and they'll get back to you. when you PM an email on this forum it turns into a JPG/GIF so no cut&paste; he had to type everyone's email addresses by hand, I think - might have typo'd yours. it happens.

I wouldn't ask yet, let those of us in beta help make it smooth as butter for you first. It's on it's way but more stuff to go, we shouldn't pressure the EmPower team for a release date this fast in my opinion. That just adds unnecessary stress to their lives...
