I bought this product within 30 days. Will I have to pay for the upgrade also?

Yes, its a paid upgrade. However, users may choose to continue with EMV 2.3 depending on their needs and requirements.
EMV 3 is a major upgrade with added features like PIM Integration, Cache implementation on Memory/Flash/SDCard and a long list of other featurs to be announced in the Release Post. In case you don't need the added features you can continue with version 2.3
Best,
Ani.

nyubi - yes, you are right. The previous build you could choose where to save the cache. But as mentioned in the beta emails, we have withheld this feature in the latest build, to be released later with all 3 options including SDCard. So you can expect it to return back in the next beta update.

Hi Ani,
On the latest beta, I still see the "Receiving more" problem. I noticed this version kept my settings during the upgrade.

I have had an interesting problem develop that I haven't heard about yet. All my emails have disappeared from all 3 of my email accounts. My empower error log is also empty, which it was not before. I wasn't doing anything, one moment I had numerous emails in all three accounts, the next moment when I received a new email and there was nothing in that account or any of the others. I've never had anything like this happen before.

I am also interested in purchasing the newer version. I have the 8130 from Sprint which has the v4.3.0.71. Not many 3rd party apps work on it yet. I am hoping yours will.

I think the 8310 runs OS 4.3, right? You'll have to wait for the new EMV 3.0 release to get all the fixes for that OS if I'm not mistaken.

I just experienced a new feature for the first time that worked great; Calendar Integration.
I received an email that required me to click yes or no that I would or would not attend an important meeting. When I clicked yes and closed the email, it was automatically in my Calendar.
Very Nice!!! Also, it worked flawlessly.
I was just informed that this was a previous feature of the Rim calendar w/o EMV. If so, this seemed to do it w/o prompt or my knowledge. At least seemed more seemless to me.
Of course, what do I know??????
