Default Viigo problem after VZ Upgrade to 4.2.2.176 - 11-28-2007, 01:20 PM

I suddenly can't use the "open in browser" link. I get a message saying "saving please wait" and then Viigo closes down, but the browser doesn't open.

I just upgraded to 4.2.2.176 on Verizon yesterday. Thoughts?

I lost a bunch of my feeds when I upgraded. Anyone else have this happen?

I'm having the same issue after upgrading my Sprint 8830 with latest software. My Viigo version is 2.2.56.

This is fixed in the 2.2.64 version. I use it and found it on Pinstack after having this exact issue on the prior version.

The 2.2.64 works great.

My version is 2.2.56, as well. Off to find 2.2.64.

The only version available on Viigo's website for the 8830 is 2.2.56

I had to delete Viigo, pull the battery, then reinstall. Downside is I had to re-enter all my feeds. Works great now.

Go the Pinstack route.

I was able to secure the branded beta version 2.2.64 and it works like a charm. Good stuff.

Of the versions I've tried (BBCool, Viigo standard, Pinstack), the Pinstack version is the most polished (which makes sense since it is newest...)

Yeah, chalk it up to desperation - I really missed the functionality and this solved it. I see this as a stopgap until other flavors reach 2.2.64...
